Pool is Open and Back to School Hotdog Cookout!

Great news, North Landing!

Our pool is officially back open. The gate lock was replaced today, and after inspection, the health inspector has approved reopening the pool. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we made this important safety repair.

Now that we're back in business, we hope you'll join us this Saturday, August 1, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM for our Back to School Hotdog Cookout!

 North Landing will provide:

  • 🌭 Hotdogs

  • 🥤 Drinks

Please bring a shareable side dish to enjoy with your neighbors.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool and celebrating the start of a new school year together!

Temporary Pool Closure Due to Safety Concerns

North Landing Members,

The North Landing pool will be closed on Thursday, July 23, and may remain closed on Friday, July 24, while repairs are made to the pool gate.

The lock on our pool gate is not functioning properly. Per Cobb County regulations, and for the safety of our members and the liability of our community, the pool must have a secure, working locking system.

 The company that installed the gate will be on site Thursday to replace the locking mechanism and will return Friday to reinforce the gate. Once the repairs are complete and the gate is operating properly, we will reopen the pool and notify everyone by email. The pass code will remain the same.

 We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary repairs. The safety and security of our members is our highest priority.

Updates & 4th of July Event Info.

Hello North Landing Community,

Here are a few important updates and reminders to help keep our community amenities enjoyable for everyone.

 

4th of July Event:

Don’t forget about our 4th of July Event on Saturday, July 4th from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM!

We will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and the fixings. Please bring a shareable side dish or dessert to help make the event even more fun for everyone. We are looking for volunteers to help. Please contact our membership chair to receive a link to the sign-up sheet.

 

Tennis & Pickleball Courts:

We will change out the locks on Tuesday, June 23rd. After that you will need the code to access the courts. We have emailed our members the new tennis and pickleball gate code.

Like the pool gate code, this code is for household use only and should not be shared outside your household. Please make sure the gate is locked when you leave. If you are playing at night, remember to turn off the court lights when finished.

 

Pool Area Reminders:

Lastly, we have noticed that the pool area has frequently been left messy throughout the day, overnight, and into the mornings. Please remember to clean up after yourselves before leaving the pool area.

 

A few important reminders:

  1. Pick up and throw away all food and trash from the tables and pool deck, as leftover food attracts ants and other pests.

  2. Please lower all umbrellas before leaving. Strong and moderate winds can easily damage them.

  3. Remove all toys and floats from the pool when you leave. Toys can clog the skimmers, which prevents the filtration system from properly keeping the pool clean.

  4. Check and straighten up bathrooms if necessary.

  5. Please make sure the bathroom doors are fully closed. The night lights attract bugs if the doors are left open.

  6. Make sure the gate latches when you come and go, let it slam shut on its own.

  7. Do not let others into the pool area unless they are your guests.

 

As a reminder, we are all volunteers! It is unfair for the board and other members to spend large amounts of time cleaning up after others. We are all part of this community, and everyone’s cooperation helps keep North Landing a place we can all enjoy!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend Kickoff & Summer Update 🇺🇸

Join us as we kick off summer with a Memorial Day Weekend celebration!

We’re also moving the Membership Drive to Sunday from 12:00–4:00 PM so it can coincide with the hot dog event. Stop by, renew your membership, and enjoy the fun!

🎉 OH! AND NEXT UP... ADULT SWIM IS BACK! 🎉

Mark your calendars for our next Adult Swim on Saturday, May 30, from 7:00–11:00 PM!

✔️ Bring an appetizer to share if you'd like

After May, Adult Swim will take place every third Saturday of the month, so be sure to save the dates!

🍦 And because we love the kiddos too, we’ll have ice cream treats for them the day after each Adult Swim!

Pool season is almost here! The pool is currently scheduled to open the May 15th. We’ll confirm the exact opening date soon. Look for the umbrellas UP!

To get ready for the season, please plan to come to one of the scheduled membership drive dates below to sign up for your 2026 membership. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers, so we kindly ask that members attend one of the scheduled times!

We’re making an important change this season to improve security and access.

We have:

• A keypad system for pool entry  

• A combo padlock for court access  

🔑 Your current key will NO LONGER work.

To receive the access information, you MUST attend one of our scheduled membership drives. This ensures your membership is active so you can enjoy all our amenities this summer. If you signed up before the keypad was installed, you will receive an email.

When you renew your membership, you will get the access code. If you signed before the keypad installation, you WILL receive an email with the access code before the pool opens.

To renew your membership, please attend one of the scheduled membership drive dates below. Our team is volunteer run. You will not be able to access the pool if you are not a current member and have the pool access code. Out of courtesy of our volunteers, come to one of our drives. It is not guaranteed that someone can meet you outside the scheduled sign-up dates and times.

DO NOT give access to the pool for anyone that does not have a current membership. You are at risk of having your MEMBERSHIP REVOKED if you do.

Raffle: Purchase $10 tickets for a chance to win a FREE 2027 membership. Proceeds support our community social events throughout the year. The drawing will be held at the end of the year event when the pool closes. You can purchase tickets throughout the year. We changed this from the original announcement.

Our next membership drive is Wednesday, May 6 from 4–6 PM.

The new gate and keypad are installed and ready to go! If you’ve already signed up, stop by to get the new gate code. If you can’t make it, we’ll be emailing the code to everyone who has already signed up.

We need your help! Want chairs to sit on this season? Come lend a hand as we get the tables and chairs set up and ready for inspection. Many hands make light work!
